Transportation Manager

I was born and raised in Allentown, PA and relocated with my children to California in January of 2000. I was the Transportation Coordinator for The Carmel Foundation for almost 10 years prior to coming to ITNMontereyCounty in November of 2013. I love my job because we help so many senior citizens or blind and visually impaired adults.

I have 4 grown children, 2 boys and 2 girls. I have 3 grandchildren, 1 boy and 2 girls. After my first grandchild (a grandson) was born, someone gave me a plaque that reads, "I thought I was too old to fall in love again; and then I became a grandma." That is so true. In addition to my close knit family of humans; I have a 28 year old Arabian horse, 11 year old Medicine Hat Paint Horse, and a 3 1/2 year old red roan Quarter Horse stallion. We also have dogs, cats, birds, and goldfish.

My family (in whatever spare time we can find) privately rescue animals in need. Sometimes we foster, rehabilitate and find loving new homes for the precious creatures that enter our lives. Sometimes, they find a permanent home with us as was the case with Boy dog. Boy dog is a 2 year old German Shepherd that has become the ITNMontereyCounty office mascot. If you happen to stop ITN the office, you are likely to meet him because I usually bring him to work with me.
